Creative Dance Classes for Children
Classes offer playful exploration of dance through movement, rhythm making and song. Children develop body awareness, motor skills and creativity in a fun, friendly environment.

Discovery Dance is led by Julie Cauthorn, MS, MSW, who has been teaching dance classes for over 15 years. As a dance therapist and social dance teacher, Julie has worked with people of all ages nurturing playful movement expression.

FALL CLASSES
FALL I - 7 week session - September 15 - October 27, 2009
FALL II - 7 week session - November 3 - December 15, 2009
Location: Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th St., Redmond, Room 102.
Cost: $75 /session
For: Children ages 2 - 4 years old.
When: Once/week Tuesday mornings (see below)

DISCOVERY DANCE - STEPPING OUT
We dance, play and sing our way through the exploration of time, space and energy with a focus on fun. By providing creative dance opportunites for our children (ages 2-4 yrs. with parent) we help them build a core sense of body-self as the begin to master new movement skills. All you need is bare feet, comfortable clothes and readiness for fun!
7 week sessions:
Tuesdays, Sept. 15 - Oct. 27, 9:30-10:15am or 10:30-11:15am
Tuesdays, Nov. 3 - Dec. 15, 9:30-10:15am or 10:30-11:15am
[Julie is currently teaching Adult dance classes - salsa, waltz, etc. with Left Foot Boogie; check out www.leftfootboogie.com for information about fun dance classes and events on the Eastside.]
